And it is needed to be directed to our very own Satchel Cat. The place we take him, and the other cats, to get cleaned up and have their nether regions shaved (necessary hygiene for fat cats), noticed that Satchel had some blood in his urine.
They, not knowing of the great delicacy of his digestive tract, prescribed a course of amoxycillin. Me, trusting, gave the stuff to him (I am quite proud of my ability to give a pill to a cat and not need minor surgery afterwards).
A few days ago, after much outpouring from several orifices, without anything going into him, prompted a storm of worry on our part. A visit to the Regular Cat Vet was needed, and done. This was Thursday.
He’s still there, guys. He’s getting better, but being fed very carefully on turkey baby-food, given to him by hand. I’ll get another progress report tomorrow morning.
Send happy thoughts to him! He needs the positive energy.

Abbye sends her best to Satchel Cat; even a dog can have sympathy for a kitty at the vet’s office. She’s spent way too much time there lately.
Thanks, Eric and Abbye! Satchel will send meows as soon as he’s home.
Oh poor boo boo bear, hope he is home soon.
OP
All good thoughts about a pussycat. So worried and hopeful for your precious love’s return to the pink of health.
Thanks, Sissy! Satchel is staying at the vet’s while we’re in France, because, even though he’s recovering, Dr. Judy says that it will take a while. He’s eating turkey baby-food now, and they should have him back on regular cat food by the time we get back.
