Scenery elsewhere

I’m not the only one appreciating the out-of-doors in a blogly manner today…

It’s been that kind of day

October Sunrise:

Life in paradise.

If it’s clear where you are, tonight’s a good one to go out and spot Andromeda, the galaxy. It’s a rough twin of the Milky Way, about six moons wide, and the farthest naked eye object in the sky. Look for what appears to be an oval, broken off piece of the Milky Way, in a Southward direction from Cassiopeia. Or check here. Or here.

We’re watching it right now, in fact.
