ladybugs

Yet another sign than autumn is here:

I wake up to a (very small) infestation of ladybugs in our bedroom. Only two so far that I’ve found, but they seem to be hanging around me (or my lamp) more than I find desirable.

Now I’m sure that if I peek in the basement window-well, the crickets will have already lined the sides of it. Mysteriously, they all point in the same direction… diagonally from lower right to upper left.
