To NYC this morning for turkey days… but what to do before/after turkey has been consumed?
Maybe I’ll go to the MMA and see my favorite tea cups. I haven’t visited them in over 20 years. They are Chinese, from the Sung dynasty (about 1100 or 1200). One has Rabbit’s Fur glaze, and one has Ox Blood glaze. The latter got its name when (according to legend) an ox wandered into a big kiln just before the potter closed it up to fire the pottery. The Chinese have lots of fun stories. But I don’t know the one for the Rabbit’s Fur glaze. Sorry.
Somehow, must keep from shopping…
