The warblers convinced me to go out and simply be outside, even though I knew that by the time I got there, the birds would be having their midday nap. I heard a fairly busy red-bellied woodpecker, but that was it. And one turtle, a red-eared slider, sunning itself on the shore of the pond.
I think I got some good pictures, but I still have to offload them from the camera.
I also drenched my left foot in an icy puddle. I’d only worn one real boot, deciding to be safe and wear the plastic boot on the bad foot. Unfortunately, it’s not waterproof.
I have finished cooking turbot in pesto sauce and lime juice. I have eaten same (little too much lime juice). Now, it is dark, and time to wonder when Barbara is coming over for the last episode of Sex and the City.
