Biological & Other Major Passover Attacks Thwarted
08:00 Apr 13, ’04 / 22 Nisan 5764(IsraelNN.com) Security forces acting on intelligence community information prevented a number of major terror attacks planned on Passover eve and during the weeklong holiday.
A biological bomb that was to include AIDS infected blood was to be detonated in a Tel Aviv on the eve of the holiday. The Kalkilye Fatah cell planning the attack was apprehended before they could construct the potentially catastrophic bomb.
Other attacks were also prevent, including a donkey bomb to be detonated in a Shomron community, as well as an attack in Emanuel, another Shomron community.
