Every year Iran and its supporters celebrate Jerusalem Day on the last day of the holy month of Ramadan. This year as well, the top officials of the Teheran regime and the Hezbollah in Lebanon held popular ceremonies on that day (November 21, 2003) whose main themes were the annihilation of Israel, increasing the aid for the violent Palestinian armed insurrection , total rejection of any political solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and provoking hatred for the United States. Moreover, this year for the first time, similar ceremonies were held in Baghdad and other areas in Iraq with large Iranian-oriented Shiite Moslem populations.
