1. I found the book oddly disappointing, especially in light of all the hype it has received. It will be interesting to see what you think of it.

2. So far, I like it, but am only on like the fourth chapter or so. But I always take big fat books with a grain of salt… For some reason, my reading and writing instincts love that which is short and concise.

   I’ve seen this book for months at the bookstore, and now that it’s out in paperback, I feel reasonably safe in giving it a shot.
