Mick was in a purple Superman-type suit; I was in my best gray velvet dress with lace and a pink ribbon. But we were both there, in Madison Square Garden in November, 1969. They told us, before we got warmed up by the likes of B. B. King and Ike & Tina Turner, that they’d be recording the Stones for a live album. So I just found it on iTunes… somewhere in here is me, clapping.
