Leaf-turning was slow to start here… drought, I think. But I return from Israel and Boulder (quite a combination!) and the leaves have well-started. Some years, they’ve all fallen by now.
So I am greeted with a sunny lovely morning, but the prospect of very few fire-colored maples this season.
