That mysterious entity, “everyone,” seems to have vanished from the global network yesterday. I, of course, noticed this because I did not vanish from it. Shame on me!
Wonderful Christmas dinner with everyone (who’d show up at my house on the 25th of December for festivities regardless of which religious tradition I decided to follow, so might as well enjoy it), and most stayed on for my small Hanukkah candle-lighting and blessings.
Barbara got me a new menorah for Christmas yesterday — how many people get those for a Christmas present? — so I had two of them going, one for each front window. I’ll try to put up pictures later.
Other Patti brought an absolutely perfect fruit tray with yogurt/lime dip, the recipe for which I’ll dig out of her soon.
I think I went off my diet, but only, er, slightly…
