Today, Boulder is chilly and drizzly, and the only prospects for today are for more rain. The rain is different here, somehow. I think it’s because the sky is different. The sky looks different — it’s shaped different. This is not the Ohio sky. I have a theory that the sky is shaped by the land underneath it, and we are at the tag-end of the prairie here, and the beginning of the Rockies. Ohio is rolling hills and rivers, and very much more rain.
That sounds like a poem, or the beginnings of one, and I’ll have to work on that. I also have to stare at the mountains in cloud and rain. Mountains require a lot of watching.
