"Religion of Peace" my a**!

Found this article (and hence the tidbit) over at Sisu’s place…

Perlmutter – Mujahideen Blood Rituals:
Beheadings, suicide bombings, and ritual mutilation are not just strategies of
war but time-honored warrior traditions that are theologically sanctioned.

I want to hear about this “peace” stuff again…

Inigo Montoya: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

  1. The Koran, like the Bible, can arguably be interpreted for peaceful and for non-peaceful ends. I mean, the Israelites were not kind to the local inhabitants when they came to Canaan, and the Bible is filled with all sorts of injunctions that have little today with today’s nicey-nicey Western world. What’s significant, though, is that we in the West have chosen to interpret the more savage parts of the Bible as symbolic, while those “peaceful” Muslims cling to a literal interpretation of every bloodthirsy word the Koran has to offer.
