VILLAGERS took along interesting finds to an event organised by Merriott History Group on Saturday.
About 200 people attended the Finds Day and Village Timeline event at the Tithe Barn, Church Street, where an historical village book was also launched.
Group chairman Cathy Herriman said: “It was a fabulous day. We had over 200 people attending with some staying for two to three hours looking at old photographs of the village and studying the timeline produced by Paul Fisher.
