Boulder Creek, early evening
The creek is very near flood level. This suits all the kids that I saw playing on its banks and building mud towers.
Wednesday, Governor’s garden
Wednesday: we had the chance to visit the garden at the Governor’s Mansion in Columbus OH. We were the guests of first lady Frances Strickland, and former first lady Hope Taft. It’s a marvelous garden, with sections for each of Ohio’s five wilderness types (hey, we even have sand dunes). I took a few pictures…
