Night quiet

Just past midnight, and I have gorged my carbohydrates and have almost finished a 2-liter bottle of Vanilla Coke. Lessons learned: patience self-reliance no whining Now, to fall asleep with the windows wide open to the cricket (not cicada) songs. I love my Vanilla Coke.
