January, Shabbat. Snow.

I’m getting used to the snow, just about in time for the spring migration of birds to start… somewhere in Central and South America, little wings are starting to flutter, and little beaks are pointing northward. They will bring spring with them, just when I am falling asleep under my blanket of snow.

I have commandeered my husband’s car, since mine still looks a whole lot like a snow drift.
