Yay!

I love those articles and news stories that say that “up to half” of a person’s email is spam, these days. Hell, my inbox has been about 90% spam for the last couple of years. That’s what you get for having the same email address for a long time, like I have. That’s also why you don’t find one of them handy “email me” links on this page. I didn’t just forget to put it there.

Believe it or not, sometimes what I do is on purpose!

California Chalks Up a Spam Win

  1. You know, that’s funny. I guess I’m just unpopular. I’ve had this domain since April and put my address all over the web in comment boxes as well as on my page (albeit, in the latter case, with a javascript ‘protection’) and I can literally count ALL the spam I’ve received to this address on two hands. The last was an ad for a spam busting app. Yeah, right.

Then again, I also have 8 email addies that I’ve been using for various purposes over the last 6 years. Still, even they don’t get much spam. Not much that makes it through their standard filters, that is.

Am I just incredibly lucky, or what?
