To be watched immediately: 28 Days Later.
Watched this with my son last night, who is famous for loving movies I’d hate. But he was right on this one.
Cinematography: many shots through objects, reflections on glass, indirection, hints. Visuals even used as makeup for the “infected”: they moved at a different speed, even if in the same shot as “regular” people.
(and I still can’t figure out how they got London so empty!)
