Janet and I survived high school together. We’ve both blanked out a lot of memories from that time, or perhaps, because they were 30 years ago and my brain has naturally decayed.
Janet and I started out in Latin Class together in 7th grade. She survived those three years (and the rest of high school) to become a classics professor, and I survived to become …. uh, a businesswoman, a computer scientist, a mathematician, a biblical scholar, a TV executive producer, blogger, and still, after all, a poet. Which latter thing is the one thing I was back then that I still am now.
And now, I must go do my foot exercises, and start to plan the first proper celebration of Lion’s Day in 30 years…
