Things

An excellent birthday – I didn’t get a single present! That’s a good thing, since I didn’t want any.

Well, I did order myself a GPS receiver, and have been fiddling with the thing ever since. I’ve got it to tell me, in general, where I am, in degrees and minutes and seconds, and how high I am above sea level. Watching this thing as we drove to the restaurant last night was even more fascinating than watching my disk de-fragment. I couldn’t take my eyes off of it.

Off on an adventure to find a cable for the silly thing, to connect to a Mac.

The map is not the territory.
