In the case of Washingtonienne, I am not a disinterested bystander (for once in my life). Senator Mike, aka Senator Michael DeWine (R-OH), is a friend of ours. My husband has helped him on all his campaigns, not just the senatorial ones.

So ’tis a bit strange, to say the least, to see him thrust into the limelight through the actions of a grunt-level aide. No, don’t have any words from him to print here, either official or un-. I think he’s a bit wary of people with blogs right about now. And he’s off in Haiti anyway.

I’m going to go drink my coffee like the nice, peacable blogger that I am, and then work some on the Joseph Campbell database.
