While I was in LA, on Sunday, I took myself to the movies. How Hollywood can you get? Anyway, what I saw was Silver City.
With John Sayles as director, you get a multithreaded plot, interesting characters who (mostly) don’t kill each other, the chance to watch Kris Kristofferson play a multi-millionaire, and a quite satisfactory cinematic experience. The good guy may not win, but he ends up doing the right thing.
Go see if you have a chance.
