  1. Kerry has developed a fall-back strategy. If he looses to Bush, he will run against Allawi. It’s obvious that he is setting the stage for that by inferring that Allawi is a Bush parrot and January elections are unrealistic, hence undermining Allawi’s legitimacy.

  3. Actually the Kerry strategy is perfect. He has GW painted into a corner. Will this line of attack sustain itself through the election, I think that is a better strategy question to ask. As for Rove, I am not sure flip-flop is going to make it. The windsurfing ad was answered back very tactically in my opinion. But the cards will be shown soon enough.
