So Patti the Decorator just called and informed me that my husband wants to paint our dining room orange. Or red. But mostly he wants orange. Fortunately, Patti knows she should inform me of these times that my husband passes through a bit of insanity, so I can deal with it.
He wants to paint the walls orange to go with my big central Asian Bodhisattva painting. Trust me, this is not a good idea. I love my painting. It needs a white wall.
How to explain this gently to Buck? Maybe something like, “Are you freaking out of your mind???”
