Seasonal Affective Disorder Blues

Anybody know where to get those SADD lights? You know, the full-spectrum lights/lamps that give out light as near to sunlight as can be. That’s what I need, and I promise myself every fall to get them, and I don’t.

Looked up the stuff in Amazon, and here’s what comes up:
Winter Blues: Seasonal Affective Disorder: What It Is and How to Overcome It, Revised and Updated

On the one hand, I’m glad to find this stuff — they also have the little lights to use. But it’s also a bit odd to find out that yet another subset of depression has spawned its own industry. Does one simply get a condition or disease anymore, or does one become part of a defined contingent, a specified group that can be advertised and catered to?

I want my SADD lights. I don’t want a new label.
