Holidays (shudder)

Turkey Day. I feel that some sort of race is beginning… The race to get to NYC, to call all my friends and family, and organize dozens of wonderful happenings all at once. No, they don’t all have to center around me. But hey, it’s my imagination. You can go imagine your own stuff, with your own friends and your own brother-in-law.

The beginning of the Christmas season, even if I am becoming Jewish. This is one religious holiday that you can’t avoid, regardless of your own personal religious feelings. I shall be caught up in a flurry of shopping along Fifth Avenue, and will I be able to resist? Oh, please. At least I won’t be guilty of commercializing Hanukkah. That’s one thing in my favor.
