Got a lovely washer-drier set that uses less water and does all kinds of wondrous stuff. I got on a machine binge, almost, and nearly redid the kitchen while I was there. Somehow, though, switching from an electric range to gas didn’t seem to be the right thing to do on impulse. So, I am back home contemplating my cuticles again, and trying to keep up with the rest of you. The rest of you who blog, that is. The rest of you who don’t blog and don’t write to me are out of luck.
One thing I am beginning to wonder is whether those bloggers who blog primarily about politics are a little over/under-whelmed right now, since the presidential election is over. Now that there’s no more to say on that score, some people think they have no more to say. Thanks to Sissy, I come across what Laurence Simon has to say about the very same thing:
TBIFOC – Diversification
However, if you put your eggs in multiple baskets and diversity your blogging portfolio, you may not be known for a single area of expertise or become the go-to man for a certain subject. But what you lack for focus you will gain in diversity of content as well as blogging opportunities.
I’ve always had bunches of eggs and lots of baskets. Just ask Ruben. So I guess I’m all set on the blogging diversity front. Time to get more of those baskets out there… Like Sissy says…
