Okay, my sinuses give up. I take Claritin-D every day, and that still doesn’t clear everything completely up.

I hereby request any and all home remedies for sinus troubles to be posted in the comments section.

  1. Must determine the source of the problem first.
    Allergies?
    Infection?
    Post nasal drip?
    Cough?
    Fever?
    Duration?
    Worse at night?
    When you lay down?

    Have you tried Alavert?
    Nyquil?
    Dayquil?
    Vicks Va-po Rub?
    Humidifier?
    Hot shower?
    Blowing your nose?
    Doctor?

    Back in the day, when I worked in Cincinnati, I was told I had allergic rhinitis, and that it was a common problem there.

    Ended up with some inhaler thing that made the stuff go away. When I moved back to Canada, problem was gone.

  3. No cold symptoms, no allergies… probably what Ruben had. Just plain old cloggy sinuses. 😐
