Re: the tsunami, instead of being an ordinary “me too” blogger, I instead present you with a snippet and link to Brian Alexander’s blog. He gives a summary, with some discussion and philosophizing, of information links. The discussion etc. (which I agree with) has much to do with how disappointing the MSM coverage of the event is.
I just finished catching up on the Indian Ocean tsunami disaster, and, amidst my horror and sympathy, wanted to jot down how I did it. It seems like a useful microcosm of news media in late 2004.
