What we do when we're bored

We look at the many offerings our host provides, to wit: other blog software. Not to mention content management systems (3), two separate methods for me to provide y’all with singles classifieds so you can conduct your mating rituals in front of me (please wait till webcam is installed), and a refrigerator magnet game.

The content management systems scared us, because they don’t look like blogs, though their documentation says they can be used for same. That which scares us is uninstalled.

Meanwhile, we play with the three blogware packages offered by our host: Serendipity, plog and Nucleus. We think they are all somewhat suspect, in different ways. But then, we think that of WordPress (the current software you’re perusing the output of) some of the time, too. Every time we look at the templates, actually.

We think of PHP, which leads us to thinking of other languages like C and Fortran — none of your object-oriented crap for us, no sir! Then we get sentimental, and start missing our first VAX which was bigger than our first child until very few years ago.

Then we realize we’re either missing Lost or we’re missing Alias, and wander off.

We sulk when we find out that Channel 9 decided to air a Billy Graham special instead. Have they no shame??!
