Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The reference to Palestine on our Text Messaging web site was done in error and is being removed immediately. For our customers to be able to exchange text messages, we currently are working with wireless carriers in Israel and have an agreement in place with one, and are working on the necessary technical requirements and agreements with the other carriers there. In addition, Verizon Wireless customers already can use their handsets to roam when they are in Israel.You may find out more about this option on our web site at:
