Last week I wrote a post about members of the Saudi National Guard deserting to go fight for Abu Musab Zarqawi’s terrorists in Iraq. (See More Saudi Nationals Join the ‘Jihad’ in Iraq.) I based that post on a couple of different sources, including an article from the Arab newspaper Al-Hayat which told of how Saudi families wait for “one of two calls,” notifying them either that their sons had gone to Iraq to fight, or that they were already dead. But yesterday the newspaper published another article on the same topic which was just amazing – two brothers go to Iraq to fight Americans, easily getting across the Syrian border and meeting up with a leader of the “resistance,” only to be told that there are no attacks on Americans right now, just car bombings!
