London. Saturday.

Just out for a brief walk and a spot of breakfast/elevenses, and the city seemed back to normal. This, of course, is only in the small radius around our hotel.

Tour buses were running, and taxis. However, people still gather in clumps to talk about “it.” The bombing. Who they knew who knew someone who was close by — that sort of chat.

I have not personally heard anything angry yet — no vindictiveness or “we should get them all” sort of talk. Perhaps that takes a few days. It’s hard to remember the details of four years ago.

  1. So glad to hear from you.
How does one process this being so close?
    My love to all.
