I’ve not updated so much the past day or so because I’ve been in transit — I’m now in Israel for the High Holidays. Will write more about that later (since strictly I’m not allowed to be using the computer during Chag anyway), and tell you all about screaming toddlers in airplanes, and how — it turns out — fish-heads are important and sacred at Erev Rosh Hashana dinners (well, with my bunch of friends, they are).
So here I am in a lovely hotel room overlooking the beach in Tel Aviv, recovering from a wonderful Rosh Hashana service and jet lag.
