The more attention I pay to my daily affairs (we visited the tax advisors today), the easier they are to understand.
This may be quite obvious to you, but much of my life is based upon procrastination, and its underlying philosophy of the less involvement in the world, the better.
It was also easy to understand what the people were telling me. Learning FORTRAN was a lot more difficult. I wish I still remembered that language. FORTRAN and COBOL: the dinosaurs of computer languages. They won’t die because they’re too damn useful!
