When is a truce not a truce?

Via Solomonia, I find this tidbit from the JPost… (emphases mine!)

Jerusalem Post | Breaking News from Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish World:
As Islamic Jihad, the Popular Resistance Committees and Fatah’s Al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades announced an end to their self-declared truce of January 2005, under which they pledged to refrain from attacking Israeli targets, an annual summary of terror activities for 2005 released by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) on Sunday revealed that a total of 2,990 attacks were launched against Israeli targets. The attacks occurred after the truce was announced the report stated.

  1. Palistinians, particularly the terrorists (course it’s hard to tell which ones aren’t terrorists) never abide by a truce and the international community never so much as bats an eyelash if they blow up innocent Israeli children but if Israel does anything, like defend themselves or wipe out a few terrorists in retaliation, everyone screams bloody murder. In their eyes, the Palis can do no wrong and israel can do no right.

I doubt Europe will wake up until it’s too late.
