Portrait Jan 3

Portrait Jan 3,
originally uploaded by niehoff.

As you can see from today’s portrait, I have not (yet) lost my hair to chemotherapy. I’ve had very few side effects, except for the Neulasta.

However, one of the side effects seems to be that my skin has turned a bright shade of green, with intermittent bluish patches.

Does anyone have a suggestion to help with this?

  1. Don’t be so negative (ok, bad photography pun).

    Happy New Year Patti.

2007 will be known as the year Patti kicked cancer’s ass.

  2. Patti, I’ve been thinking of you every day for weeks now AND reading your blog as often as possible. Your bravery and wit during this time is so very admirable. The blue/green entry is a memorable one. Maybe you won’t lose your hair but if you do, you’ll be as charming as you are now. AND it will grow back. AND maybe it’ll be blue and green when it returns! Thanks for keeping your humor in tact so that those who care about you feel less stressed. I’m sure, by the way, that you will beat this thing, this nefarious invader.

  3. Thanks, Ann! I’ve got 5 hats and a sleeping cap waiting…

Eric: every day is Halloween, if only your spirit is in the right place.

Ruben: will try to be more, er, positive!
