Cool gray (grey)

I’ve always preferred the British way of spelling the color gray, with an “e”: grey. It seems to be a “grayer” way of spelling the word.

And it is common to say that one wishes to avoid the grays in one’s life, to stick with the more emphatic blacks and whites. Or, if one is more philosophical, one might wish to say that one appreciates and even prefers the shades of gray in one’s life, rather than going to the starker extremes.

But however you feel about it, I’ve decided that I like gray/grey better than the acid green of yesterday’s theme, and have found a better one, with gray/grey at the top. I like it so much I may even keep it after the NigaRila theme gets itself fixed for this latest version of WordPress.

  1. Grey has always found favour with me, too, but the bloody copy editors invariably amend.

  2. I like the grey, too (and I also like grey better than gray). Unfortunately, I missed the acid green – which, by the way, has a really nice ring to it.
