To drown it out

I am playing some Brian Eno music to drown out the television that I woke up to. It was evidently on all night.

That’s something I used to do at the hospital — leaving the TV on all the time. Its inanity would help me drift off to sleep, both at the time I wanted to go to sleep, and later, after the doctors, medical students in tow, swept into my room for a few words to the students on what had brought me there. I really could have used Brian Eno at that time. No such luck.

  1. Fortunately, not πŸ˜‰

Peter has just visited, so our TV is set on the baseball channel. I may end up even cheering for the home team.
