The current state (or non-state) of the economy has brought about some surprising things. Okay, that’s an understatement.
Prompting my observation is the new campaign by Saturn Motors, topped off with the catch phrase of “We’re still here!”
The complete lack of enthusiasm, and lack of perceived trust on the part of the consumer, make this startling. Shouldn’t they be saying something on the order of “We’ve got the best cars in the world?”
Instead, we are notified that they’re not dead yet. Just like a Monty Python movie.
