Chocolate or Vanilla?

Chocolate. Vanilla goes with everything, and therefore is a classic of sorts. But it’s been a classic by default of being only there as some sort of structure to display the banana slices and chocolate sauce upon.

Chocolate: it has its own presence. Avoid the chips — they overwhelm. Avoid the nuts — they break your nice new dental veneers. Plain chocolate is enough.

And now, I have to go figure out why there is none in the house.
