Lucy has officially left us. She had no chance of recovery, really, even if the Heparin suddenly worked. How much can you put a loved cat through? Not this. So, she is gone on a rainy, cold Friday evening at the end of October.

We are going to say goodbye to Lucy today. The vet gave us bad news yesterday. Her blood clot hasn’t dissolved, no matter how much Heparin they give her.
