Thank you, everyone, for sending hugs and consolation at Lucy‘s passing. It was much appreciated. Normal (?) blogging will resume any time now.
Lucy has officially left us. She had no chance of recovery, really, even if the Heparin suddenly worked. How much can you put a loved cat through? Not this. So, she is gone on a rainy, cold Friday evening at the end of October.
We are going to say goodbye to Lucy today. The vet gave us bad news yesterday. Her blood clot hasn’t dissolved, no matter how much Heparin they give her. Her back legs haven’t been getting a proper blood supply for a week now, and the muscles have deteriorated severely. There’s no hope for her to … Continue reading Lucy
