spring rain

Spring is here. Definitely. The nasty winter rain has turned into nasty spring rain. Wrens!

This morning, half conscious, I heard wrens outside the window. Wrens! Carolina wrens! The fact that such a volume of song can come out of such a small animal. Spring must be here. I and my camera must find it. (found this good picture here.)
