For some reason, my husband decided that it would be a good idea today to let our son stay home from school so he could attend a Republican fundraiser at which the Main Guest was Dick Cheney. I try to be a good mother, and not get too upset at these things, but having him see Cheney could be beyond the limit.
But, I’ve lived with Republicanism in the house for a long time. This should make me immune, but I am beginning to believe that nobody is ever truly immune from the Republican Party.
My son looks the same…. Only time will tell.
