Have you ever been so tired that you did not want to go to sleep? That is where I am now.
Current plan of action:
- hook up the computer
- put Drew Carey on the TV
- drink all the Beck’s in the mini-bar
- remind the blog-readers not to worry, since there were only 2 Beck’s in the mini-bar in the first place
(suddenly realizes this is going to be dated the day after the events, but figures the blog-readers can adjust for that)
Drive the rabbi around all day. And/or drive oneself around to meet the rabbi so one can be driven around with the rabbi all day. Or something like that.
First was a stop at the studios of KLI radio in Los Angeles — 640 on yer AM dial. The rabbi was interviewed by Bill Handel. The two of them seemed to enjoy the half-hour of the interview process (it was taped for later airing).
Hot, exclusive preview of the contents: the rabbi admitted that his wife, Chaya, is the most beautiful woman in the state of Israel.
Film at 11.
Then lunch. Meet rabbi to work on television proposal. Fail to finish same. Drive rabbi to a meeting, back for preparation for evening’s lecture, then the evening’s lecture, and then somehow I end up back in my room with the Movable Type page staring at me in the face.
Wonder to self: what are the little blue buttons for??
Let’s press the SAVE one and find out!
