Reading.

A day of reading, mostly Quicksilver. I can’t read more than a few psalms at a time without overdosing, and this week’s parsha is well into all of the various laws that Hashem told Moses to tell the people about.

I peer into the world of evening network television, seeing what all the hubbub is about, semi-alarmed in a shallow way about the impending sense of doom in a headline which worries about the future of TV after “Friends” and “Frazier” end forever this season.

In the world of blogs, everyone sounds so purposeful all day. I must remember that 90% of this is people talking about others’ politics.

Next time we spend the afternoon reading, it will be with cups of tea or glasses of soda pop. Oh yes.
