We are on our way through the Val d’Aran. Intermittent torrents and sunshine, averaging out to a cloudy day with a bit of sun.
At the moment, we are at a dead stop somewhere on the narrow road to Arties, due to an accident on the way ahead. Nothing to do but to plug in the laptop, even though they’ve got the blockage cleared away now. Car trips through the mountains when I can’t drive … argh! Nobody in Spain uses an automatic transmission.
At our Parador. Exhausted and writing offline and not sure the phone connection will work. Window open – hundreds of birds, it seems, calling to me.
