Madrid is full of shopping, and some hustle and bustle, and the sidewalk cafés, but they are not the relaxed cafés of Barcelona. Too many people hurrying by.
Not enough snack food that I find edible: too many baby squids in their own ink. I can appreciate a country without eating all its food, I hope. Too much octopus, and enough ham that I’m quite tired of the stuff. Supposed to be heading towards a more kosher diet, anyway. Maybe I’ll break down and head to Burger King or the Hard Rock Café.
The camera still works fine, but its cord is still somewhere in the Val d’Aran. Hence, you’ll have to do without pictures till I get back home.
